Hector Guimard Gilt Bronze and Glass Lantern Chandelier
This French Art Nouveau gilt bronze and glass lantern chandelier by Hector Guimard, features glass panels of blue-green and amethyst, framed by gilt bronze whiplash designs. This stunning chandelier features gently-rippled glass that leave the impression of staring into pools of water, turned colors by the tide. The curvilinear framing of the gilt bronze on the bright aqua blue glass panels, with its wispy detailing and dramatic roundness, are contrasted beautifully by the stark and straight verticality of the amethyst glass panels.
